Exploring the school and the city

Welcome back!

Today I went to the school for the first time. They gave me a tour and introduced me to my new colleagues who were all very friendly! Tomorrow I will start working for real and since the school year doesn't start until next Monday, we will be decorating the hallways and the classrooms. I am so excited!

I also took some time to explore the city today. There is a river called Júcar that runs through the city. I went for a walk along the river and found some great reading spots! I have to watch out for the insects, though, cause they will eat me.

Anyway, I am going for a drink. Cheers!

 

Welkom terug!

Vandaag ben ik voor het eerst naar de school geweest. Ze gaven me een rondleiding en stelden me voor aan mijn nieuwe collega's die allemaal erg vriendelijk waren! Morgen begin ik echt te werken en aangezien het schooljaar pas volgende maandag begint, gaan we de gangen en de klaslokalen versieren. Ik kijk er naar uit!

Ik heb vandaag ook de tijd genomen om de stad te verkennen. Er is een rivier die Júcar heet en die door de stad stroomt. Ik heb een wandeling gemaakt langs de rivier en ik heb een paar mooie leesplekjes gevonden! Ik moet wel oppassen voor de insecten, want ze eten me helemaal op!

Hoe dan ook, ik ga iets wat drinken. Schol!
