Exploring Valencia city

Hello!

Today I went to explore the city of Valencia! We started at Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències where a temporary exhibition 'Igor Mitoraj' was running. For this exhibition, statues had been placed in the water around the buildings. For those interested, it is until 16 October.

Afterwards, we went to the city centre. There were many nice souvenir shops and small streets, especially in the older part! We went to La Llotja de Mercaders, an old Gothic-style trade fair building.

And to end the day, of course we had to go to the shops!

Vandaag ben ik de stad Valencia gaan verkennen! We begonnen bij Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències waar een tijdelijke tentoonstelling 'Igor Mitoraj' liep. Voor deze tentoonstelling waren er beelden in het water rondom de gebouwen geplaatst. Voor degenen die geïnteresseerd zijn, het is tot 16 oktober.

Daarna gingen we naar het stadscentrum. Er waren veel leuke souvenirwinkeltjes en kleine straatjes, vooral in het oudere deel! We gingen naar La Llotja de Mercaders, een oud handelsbeursgebouw in gotische stijl.

En om de dag af te sluiten moesten we natuurlijk naar de winkels!
